Privacy Policy for Railway MCQ Master app

This privacy policy applies to the Railway MCQ Master app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by RailwayMCQMaster.in (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Source of Information :
- The Information and questions that we provide in our app is prepared by our panel of experts and from the data available in public domain.
- The LDCE exam Previous year questions are sourced from https://nair.indianrailways.gov.in/

The application is developed as a public service to help the Railway employees ace their internal examinations. The application is not affiliated with any government services or person.

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as

• Information We Collect
  The App may collect the following types of information:

  a. Device and Network Information:

  • Access to device's internet connection to provide online features.
  • Access to Wi-Fi state and network state to optimize user experience and ensure connectivity.

  b. Storage Access:

  • Read and write access to external storage to save and retrieve user preferences, application data, and downloadable content.

  c. Advertising Data:

  • Limited access to device identifiers for displaying relevant advertisements (e.g., Google Ad ID).

  d. App Functionality:

  • Access to device vibration for interactive features.
  • Access during device boot-up to ensure the app functions as intended after a restart.
  • Email, Name, Mobile number, Profile Photo. The information that the Service Provider request will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.

How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:

• Provide core app functionality.
• Improve the App’s performance and user experience.
• Display personalized advertisements.
• Ensure the App complies with relevant legal and security requirements.

Third Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;

• Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to your website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Deletion:

The users can easily delete their data by using the Delete Account option available in the Settings section of the app or If you'd like the service provider to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact at support@railwaymcqmaster.in .

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. 

Permissions Usage
Below is an explanation of the permissions required by the App:

• VIBRATE: To enable haptic feedback for interactive features.
• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: To access online resources and ensure connectivity.
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To save and retrieve app data and user preferences.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To enable the App to function after device restarts.
• ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: To manage Wi-Fi connectivity for optimized performance.
• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: To display relevant advertisements.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
